Co-Head
As Co-Head of Critical Content, Rob Lobl oversees the company's unscripted development slate, leading the creation and sale of programming ranging from competition and true crime to documentary, lifestyle and relationship series for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. A creative executive, producer and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience, Lobl has developed projects across virtually every major television buyer while building a reputation for collaboration, identifying commercially viable concepts, and creating talent-driven franchises.
Prior to joining Critical Content, Lobl served as Executive Vice President of Development and Current at T Group Productions. He previously co-founded and served as Co-President of SokoLobl Entertainment, where he developed and produced original unscripted programming as both a creator and showrunner.
Lobl began his career in New York working in film and television development for companies including Sandollar Productions, Sony Television and Chicago Films, and also spent time in the marketing department at the NFL before returning to his Southern California roots to pursue a career in unscripted television. He earned his degree from Boston University.
Outside of work, Lobl is a lifelong Los Angeles Rams fan and can often be found exploring the city with his dog, Ramsey.
