Head of International Production
Before joining SK Global, Winnie Lau was the Head of International Productions and Distribution at Jet Tone Films, the production company of acclaimed director Wong Kar-Wai. Prior to Jet Tone Films, she served as Executive Vice President of Fortissimo Films in New York and Hong Kong.
While working at Fortissimo, she brought award-winning films such as SHINE A LIGHT, WINTER'S BONE, JIRO DREAMS OF SUSHI, IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE, THE GRANDMASTER to a global audience.
Winnie produced CITIES OF LAST THINGS by Ho Wi Ding and Executive produced IMPETIGORE by Joko Anwar, INVISIBLE WAVES by Penek Ratanaruang and HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES by John Cameron Mitchell.
In 2015, she also co-produced the exhibition China Through The Looking Glass at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, with Wong Kar-Wai and Andrew Bolton.
Born and raised in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Winnie is an AMPAS and BAFTA member and currently resides in Thailand.
